Our principal, Chris Trudeau, has been successfully navigating his clients to the closing table for almost 15 years as a top producing Intermediary. He began his career in the Accounting and Finance area (passing the Illinois CPA exam along the way) and spent over 10 years as the Controller of a few small to medium sized manufacturing and distribution companies. These positions, working very closely with owners and ‘C’ level executives, provided him with a keen understanding of small business ownership. The last stop on this part of his journey, assisting on the Due Diligence of a couple of acquisitions, is what led him to make a career out of assisting business owners and buyers in what is typically the single toughest business endeavor they will go through. He provides a unique combination of a successful track record, a strong financial background, an unmatched attention to detail and the interpersonal skills to build productive relationships with the many key parties to a transaction. The transaction process is not easy and every deal is, in many ways, as unique as the owners themselves. Chris understands this all too well so makes sure to spend the time upfront to really understand the owners’ goals, allowing him to guide them through the optimal exit strategy to meet those goals. With his vast array of experience in successfully navigating the transaction process spanning many industries, many transaction sizes and many different deal structures, our clients can rest assured that they are in good hands!
